Private Nada is an album of recollection. Using personal photographs, participants will create a notebook or a document where one’s own self is seen in the context of Nothing and hope. Our measurable lifetime is determined by two factors that act as opponents: memory versus Nadation of the self. Nadation refers to the blurring of boundaries of one’s own self, whilst also the diffusion thereof.
In this workshop, participants will work with a notebook made of paper or design a document on a computer. The layout software will be available for free download. For the creation of a paper notebook, original photographs can first be scanned and then printed.
Duration of workshop: 4-6 teaching units
